We consult in order to give all stakeholders a chance to input into our regulatory proposals and decisions.

In our consultations, we ask specific questions about our intended course of action. Consultations are open for a defined period of time and move through the same set stages of open, closed (awaiting decision) and closed (with decision).

We also publish calls for input – these range from requests for information and evidence to opportunities to join workshops or submit views via online surveys.

You can see all consultations in the list below. Upcoming and open consultations are displayed first by default.

You can find Ofgem responses to third-party consultations in our corporate publications library.
